Don’t get stuck in traffic!  Take a bus from Allen High School. Buses will have priority to and from Market Street Allen USA Celebration. They are convenient and just like the event itself, FREE!

 

By partnering with Go TAPS for 2015 there will be 10 additional buses running after the fireworks to get you back to your car as quickly as possible!

SHUTTLE SERVICE

Shuttle service begins at 3:30 p.m. with return shuttles available throughout the day and evening (buses will not run starting at 9:30 p.m. until the end of the fireworks show).

PARK & WALK

Remote parking for those who wish to park and walk to the event site is available at Story, Anderson and Olson Elementary Schools (mouse over map for locations).

Free Shuttle Service

A shuttle for patrons with disabilities will be available from the shuttle parking location. Parking for the disabled will be available on-site on a first come first serve basis and vehicles must display a state issued handicap sticker or license plate.

No pets or folding chairs will be allowed on the shuttle. Collapsible, bagged chairs that can fit on the lap of the rider will be allowed. Small coolers are permitted but must also fit on the lap of the rider. Strollers must be folded for carry onto the shuttle.

How much is admission? Admission is FREE!

 

How much are Kid Zone tickets and wristbands?  Tickets are 2 for $1.00 and can only be purchased on the day of the event. Wristbands are $25 the day of the event, but can be purchased for $20 in advance at the Joe Farmer Recreation Center and the Don Rodenbaugh Natatorium. Pre-sale of 2015 Market Street Allen USA Celebration wristbands will begin on Monday, June 1 and run through the day of the event at noon.

 

How much are glow products and when will they be available for purchase? Glow products are $3 and they will be available for purchase beginning at approximately 7 p.m. until the end of the event. They'll be sold all over the site, but mainly on the great lawn where everyone will be seated for the concert and fireworks. Proceeds will benefit designated non-profit group.

 

How much do inflatables and crafts cost? Costs will vary from 4-6 tickets (or $2-3) or you can purchase a wristband for $25 which includes access to all the activities in the Kid Zone.

 

How much are food and drinks? Food prices will vary from concessionaire to concessionaire. Drinks cost between $2-3.

 

What time will the ticket booths close? Ticket booths will close promptly at 8:30 p.m. Please note there are NO REFUNDS on ticket or wristband purchases.

 

What time are the fireworks? They will begin at approximately 10 p.m. The show will be about 25 minutes in length.

 

What time will the concessionaires close? Concessions will be available until 10 p.m. Some concessionaires may continue selling through the fireworks finale.

 

What time will the Kid Zone shut down? Attendees will be able to enter the lines to the inflatables until 9 p.m. Everyone in line by 9 p.m. time will get to complete the activity. Please note, if needed, lines may close earlier to be able to accommodate everyone in lines.

 

Will the shuttle bus from Allen High School be running back and forth all day long? Yes, shuttle buses from Allen High School (AHS) to Celebration Park will run from 3:30 to 9:30 p.m. Beginning immediately after the firework show (approx. 10:30 p.m.) buses will shuttle passengers back to AHS. Buses will not run between 9:30 p.m. and the end of the fireworks show.

 

Can I bring my dog? Due to expected high temperatures, crowds and noise of the fireworks, we encourage pet owners to leave their furry friends at home.

 

Can I bring lawn chairs and a cooler with food and drinks? Lawn chairs and coolers are permitted and are subject to being searched. NO alcohol will be allowed onsite.

 

Can I bring a shade structure? Shade structures are permitted however; please note that all shade structures must come down at 7:45 p.m. to ensure adequate visibility for everyone in attendance.

 

What happens if it rains? Market Street Allen USA Celebration is a "rain or shine" event but if inclement weather necessitates, all band performances will be moved indoors to Allen Event Center. Check local weather forecasts before heading to the event. In case of inclement weather, please check allenusa.org or cityofallen.org for any updates to scheduled activities.

 

 

ZERO WASTE

Help Us Achieve Zero Waste!

COMPOST

The serveware used by many of the event food vendors is compostable (look for signage).  Compostable means the item is made of materials that break down easily.  Market Street Allen USA Celebration collects vendor supplied paper plates, drinks in clear cups, and the spoons, forks and knives for composting.

RECYCLE

Bottles and cans are the most recyclable materials! Whether the bottle is empty or half full, it goes in the blue recycling containers. Paper and cardboard are also recyclable at Allen USA Celebration.

TRASH & LITTER

We have two words for litter and trash – STOP IT!  Do the right thing and put litter in its place – the trash can. Market Street Allen USA Celebration wants to be litter and trash free and only you can make it happen!

SPREAD THE WORD

Snap a selfie using the Keep Allen Beautiful Don’t Mess With Texas trash can on site and post your picture on Facebook or Twitter using the hashtags #dmwt, #keeptexasbeautiful and #K_A_B!

If only 10% of the waste generated at Market Street Allen USA Celebration is discarded as trash with the remaining 90% recycled, composted or consumed we will succeeded in again producing one of the largest a Zero Waste events in the country!
